Sales Admin/Coordinator

The Matrix Club in Naperville, Illinois has a taste for international cuisine and entertainment. Our organization is seeking a Sales Admin/Coordinator to identify, develop and support sales efforts for three exciting new venues combined into one! We value creativity, innovation and a progressive sales approach to engage potential patrons at many levels and from different cultures. You’ll be representing an entirely new concept in integrated entertainment and cuisine, with world-class acts and event-hosting capabilities; weddings, corporate events, the arts and more. Our sales process begins with sophisticated web and public relations promotion to bring prospects into the sales funnel, but we’ll also be proactively reaching out through prospecting and existing database of customer leads, as well as data-driven personality profiles of our ideal customers. This is a great opportunity to develop this role into an Event Sales Manager position.

About The Dhrishti Center:

The Dhrishti Center for Performing Arts provides a unique location to host a captivating array of theater, music, dance, fashion shows, art exhibitions, and educational exhibits.

  • Supports Sales team throughout sales process, to include handling initial inquiries, lead generation, coordinating client consultation, detailing BEOs, and event billing paperwork
  • Using existing database and inbound marketing leads to bring in business
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to identify sales goals and financial objectives
  • Participate in weekly Sales and BEO meetings
  • Maintain CRM system using technology to track, follow up and close business
  • Work alongside other departments in event execution and management
  • Project a positive and friendly image in community representation in networking opportunities
  • Monitor web feedback and inbound marketing to turn inquiries into active accounts
  • Assist in categorizing types of sales prospects according to organizational, individual or institutional needs
  • Provide sales reports to Sales team, Operations and Events managers, and ownership
  • Assist in post event follow-up as needed to maximize customer satisfaction and referrals
  • Communicate sales needs to marketing representatives and agencies to support all efforts
  • Prepare sales materials, marketing collateral for outreach
  • Manage Sales office calendars, schedules, appointments as needed
  • Misc office duties as Managers and Ownership sees fit
  • Support sales efforts for The Matrix Room and associated properties
  • In collaboration with Sales team and ownership, support sales goals in alignment with financial projections
  • Assist with inventory management and quality control of all departments
  • Establish and implement a customer satisfaction follow up program
  • Assist in following up on referrals and leads in timely fashion
  • 2+ years in a parallel role in the hospitality, restaurant or entertainment field
  • Demonstrated record in achieving financial objectives in the restaurant and events industry
  • Proven ability to manage a CRM software to generate and track sales
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales strategies and tactics
  • Cultural sensitivity and diversity is a top priority
  • Multiple language skills is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and alongside multiple department heads
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft software including Excel, Word,presentation software, Tech Savvy is a must
  • Knowledge in CRM software- Tripleseat/Allseated preferred
  • Manage incoming calls and walk-in inquiries accordingly
  • Familiarity with sales best practices and procedures
  • Experience leading or collaborating with sales professionals and programs

Applicants should have training and experience with Strong Communication Skills (both written and verbal), Positive Attitude, Personable demeanor, Multitasking, Attention to Detail, Organization, Strong Observational Skills, Conflict Resolution, Computer Literacy, Second Language a Plus, Some Sales Experience preferred but not required.

Banquet Manager

The Matrix Club is a one of a kind venue, currently under construction, aiming to launch in October 2021. Our location is located in the Western suburbs, and easily accessible off highway I-88. We are seeking a banquet manager who will be responsible for the proper set up, take down, scheduling, managment and service of all banquet functions. This position will be responsible for supervising all banquet employees to ensure satisfaction, and maintaining our service standards. The banquet manager will be responsible for training and oversight of employees to deliver prompt, high-level service in a manner that aligns with The Matrix Club.

We’ll be serving guests eager to be entertained by their experience at The Matrix Club. The Matrix Club is a premier convention, banquet, and performance venue created around the idea that a cosseting style of hospitality and ethereal beauty is essential to share unique and special moments. The banquet manager will assist in hosting all types of events in our venue. We have seating capacity for up to 2,000 guests in our banquet room.

The Dhrishti Center: The Dhrishti Center for Performing Arts provides a unique location to host a captivating array of theater, music, dance, fashion shows, art exhibitions, and educational exhibits.

From time to time the banquet manager may be asked to assist with onsite events at The Matrix Room and Dhrishti Center.

  • Directing all banquet operations including staff management, purchasing and training
  • Establishing a patron service plan and satisfaction program
  • Directing shift assignments, opening and closing staff
  • Planning and implementing menus and supply ordering
  • Ordering and conducting inventory of all food and beverage needs
  • Assessing customer preferences and making food/drink recommendations
  • Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
  • Coordinating all regulatory and health inspections
  • Cleaning tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment
  • Meet demands of high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
  • Manage Back of the house including qualified Cooksand Wait Staff
  • Oversee planning and execution of all banquet activities at The Matrix Club and associated properties
  • Implement financial planning, tracking and reporting on the profitability of the venue
  • In collaboration with ownership, establish sales goals in alignment with financial projections
  • Direct all hiring and training of leadership staff
  • Create and review leadership goals and performance
  • Conduct inventory management and quality control of all departments
  • Monitor safety standards, OSHA and other regulatory requirements of the venues
  • Establish and implement a customer satisfaction program
  • Conduct operational meetings
  • 5+ years in a parallel role in the banquet, restaurant or entertainment field
  • Demonstrated record in planning and achieving financial objectives in the restaurant industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and events at once
  • Experience in producing and serving multiple cuisine types
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales strategies and tactics
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Cultural sensitivity and diversity is a top priority
